He was born january 19,1809. There are many other versions of how Edgar Allan Poe death occuured. But the one the one that made the most sence to me was "Poe's death is rewritten as a acase of rabies, not telltale alcohol". Because if he was an alcoholic he would'nt be smart at all because liquir kills brain cells.
I think Edgar Allan Poe was accused about something he didn't do because he could have got muged for his clothes. Just because he was wearing some one else's clothes doesn't mean that he was drunk and that some stole his clothes. When he was shouting he could've been mad or it maybe a symptoms of rabies. POe was not drunk but he was delrious.
If he was drunk he would have gotten over that hang over already. He grew very impatient while in thee hospital and was ready to go to war with any one. Then as he calmed down he then just died October 7, 1849 at 5:00 in the morning. As Poe died his final words were lord help my poor soul.
In my conclusion based on the information I recieved i think people were wrong about him drinking.He didnt kno if he was bitten or not because one fourth of the people do not know they are bitten. For all we know he could have hurt his head when he fell in th gutter
